Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about working with Paradise In Your Palm.

Usually, no. In most cases, there is no additional cost to use Paradise In Your Palm to plan and book your vacation. For certain complex or highly customized trips, or when significant research and planning is required, a professional planning retainer may apply. Your advisor will always discuss any applicable retainer with you before beginning that work.
Working with a travel advisor means you get personalized vacation planning built around your specific travel style and preferences — not a generic search result. Our advisors bring firsthand knowledge, established supplier relationships, and experience coordinating all the moving parts of a trip. We provide support before, during, and after your travel, and we're here to help when problems or unexpected changes occur. Depending on the destination and travel partner, your vacation may also include access to in-destination support while you travel.
We specialize in ocean cruises, river cruises, all-inclusive resorts, Caribbean and Mexico, Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, luxury travel, family vacations, honeymoons, and group travel. We also plan custom international itineraries to destinations worldwide.
For most vacations, 3-6 months in advance is ideal. For popular destinations during peak season, destination weddings, or large group travel, 9-12 months or more is recommended. That said, we can often accommodate last-minute requests — just reach out and we'll see what we can do.
Yes. Paradise In Your Palm can provide access to travel protection options, and we strongly recommend considering travel protection for your trip. Coverage, benefits, exclusions and conditions vary by policy. Please review the policy documentation carefully and direct technical coverage questions to the insurance provider.
If something goes wrong during your trip — such as a flight cancellation, resort issue, or unexpected change — you have a real person to contact who can help you understand your options and advocate on your behalf when appropriate. Depending on your destination and travel partners, you may also have access to supplier-provided in-destination assistance.
Yes, as part of your vacation planning. Paradise In Your Palm may assist with airfare when it is part of the overall trip we are planning for you. We do not book standalone airfare. Airline pricing, schedules, changes, cancellations, and policies are controlled by the airline and subject to the airline's terms and conditions.
